Remecia Vickers
Rapid Resource Responder
Remecia is the Rapid Resource Responder at Operation Restoration. She is responsible for executing rapid response requests in a timely and efficient manner. She additionally identifies, builds, and maintains strong community partnerships with outside entities.
In this role, Remecia directly supports women and families impacted by incarceration; in addition to helping her clients find needed resources and assistance, Remecia’s goal is to support women on their journey to become their best selves. A native of New Orleans, Remecia received her Associate of Arts degree in Education from Delgado. Prior to joining OR, she spent six years working in various educational facilities in the city as an early childhood teacher. Remecia plans on furthering her interests in education and client support by pursuing a degree in social work. In both her educational and professional pursuits, she enjoys helping her community and helping people realize their potential.
