Brittany Collins

Operation girls coordinator

Brittany serves as the Operation Girls Coordinator, where she works to mentor, empower, and advocate for girls and young women impacted by incarceration and other systemic barriers. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of programming designed to promote personal growth, education, leadership, and positive connections while helping girls recognize their value, voice, and potential.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from Dillard University and is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Community Health from Chamberlain University. Her academic and professional experiences have strengthened her commitment to addressing the social and environmental factors that influence the well-being and success of young people and families.

Before joining Operation Restoration, Brittany served as a Crisis Case Manager at Covenant House New Orleans, where she provided intensive support, advocacy, crisis intervention, and case management services to young women and mothers experiencing housing instability and other significant barriers. She also spent many years as an educator, including serving as an education interventionist, where she developed a deep passion for helping children build confidence, overcome obstacles, and reach their fullest potential.

Throughout her career, Brittany has remained committed to serving her community and creating spaces where young people feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. At Operation Restoration, she brings together her experiences in education, public health, case management, and youth advocacy to help girls recognize their strengths, build healthy relationships, navigate challenges, and create a future beyond the circumstances they may face today.

Brittany believes that every girl deserves someone who sees her potential—even when she cannot see it for herself.
