Operation Restoration Featured in Ms. Magazine
Operation Restoration was recently highlighted in Ms. Magazine in a powerful feature exploring how women impacted by incarceration are building pathways forward through education, advocacy, and community. The article spotlights our partnership with Tulane University to bring college programming inside Louisiana correctional facilities, as well as the real-life impact of our reentry support services.
Through stories of women who have participated in our programs—from earning degrees while incarcerated to securing meaningful careers after release—the feature underscores the importance of access, opportunity, and second chances. It also highlights our broader work, including workforce development initiatives like the Lab Assistant Program and advocacy efforts aimed at removing barriers to reentry.
We’re honored to have our mission and the voices of the women we serve amplified on a national platform.
